For the First Time, Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled Football Team Achieves Second Place

Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled successfully organized the 2026 Al Thiqa Ramadan Futsal Tournament, which saw wide participation from government institutions, departments, and companies. The tournament was held in a highly competitive atmosphere that reflected the spirit of sportsmanship and community cooperation during the holy month of Ramadan.

The tournament witnessed significant engagement from participating entities, who were keen to compete with a high level of sportsmanship. The Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled football team achieved a remarkable feat by securing second place for the first time in the futsal competition among participating government and private institutions and departments. Dr. Khalid Omar Al Madfa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled, affirmed that the tournament reflects the club's commitment to strengthening its sporting and community role by organizing events that contribute to instilling the values ​​of sportsmanship and fair competition among institutions. He stated that the tournament's success reflects the level of cooperation and support the club receives from various participating entities. For his part, Mr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Qaid Al-Hammadi, Acting Executive Director of Al-Thiqa Club for the Disabled, expressed his delight at the tournament's organizational success.
