After a close battle with Abu Dhabi Archery Club player Ali Nasser Al Marri, who was narrowly defeated by a jury decision, Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled player Ahmed Al Naqbi finished second in the UAE Archery Cup. Third place went to Mohammed Al Shehhi of the Dubai Club for People of Determination. All five of the cup's stages this season were dominated by Ahmed Al Naqbi.
