Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled received a delegation from the Education Youth Culture and Media Affairs Committee of the Sharjah Consultative Council headed by Her Excellency Sheikha Ali Al Naqbi Chairperson of the Committee and accompanied by several members of the Committee The visit aimed to review the club's achievements and future plans in the sports and cultural fields

The delegation was received by Dr. Khalid Omar Al Midfa Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled and several members of the Board of Directors. During the meeting the most prominent programs and initiatives implemented by the club were reviewed, in addition to discussing its upcoming projects aimed at empowering people with disabilities and enhancing their participation in community activities.

The delegation also toured the club's various facilities, reflecting the Sharjah Consultative Council's commitment to supporting and encouraging institutions working to serve and empower people with disabilities and enhance their role in sports and cultural activities across the emirate.
