The Board of Directors of Al-Thiqa Club for the Disabled discussed the future programs and activities, the operational plans of the various committees of the club, and the preparations of the sports teams for the upcoming local and international competitions.
This came during a meeting of the Board of Directors of Al-Thiqa Club for the Disabled, headed by Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadem, and attended by Kaltham Obaid Al Matroushi, Vice Chairman of the Board, Counselor Hamid Ali Al Abbar, Chairman of the Marketing and Investment Committee, Badria Obaid Salman Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Cultural and Community Activities Committee, and Abdullah Ibrahim Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Technical Affairs and Sponsorship Committee Talented and Abdul Ghafour Ali Al Raisi, Chairman of the Media and Communication Committee, Maryam Ali Abdullah Al Shehhi, Chairman of the Social Committee, Haider Talib Arbi’, Director of the Sharjah Office, a friend for people with mobility disabilities, and Ahmed Salem Hamad Al Mazloum, Executive Director of the club.
Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadim blessed the return of sports activity for members within the club, praising the great role played by the various committees of the club in contributing to the gradual return of all activities and events, stressing that all committees practice their plans while following all precautionary measures to prevent the Corona virus according to operational programs with specific timelines.
During the meeting, the council reviewed the strategic plan 2021-2024 for the Technical Affairs and Talented Committee, as well as the preparations of the different teams in the club to participate in the upcoming local and international tournaments. The most important achievements of the Social Committee and the activities of the Girls Branch.
The Council also looked at a report on the most important work of the World Federation of the Handicapped and reviewed the most important items of the memorandum of understanding and cooperation with the French Club Beaujouan and its technical impact on the sporting future of club members with disabilities.
