Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled in Sharjah will host a camp for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's youth national team for people with disabilities from December 1 to 10. This camp is part of the Saudi teams' preparations for the Asian Paralympics, which will be hosted by Dubai in December 2025.
This camp affirms the deep ties of cooperation between Al Thiqa Club and Arab and international sports bodies and federations, enhancing the exchange of expertise and supporting the development of sports for people with disabilities at various levels.
The coordination meeting was attended by His Excellency Dr. Khalid Omar Al Midfa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled; Mr. Mohammed Al Qaid Al Hammadi, Board Member and Acting Executive Director and Chairman of the Technical Committee; and Mr. Sultan Al Enaizi, Representative of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee and Director of Saudi National Team Participation.
The attendees emphasized the importance of this step in providing a comprehensive training environment that will help enhance the Saudi national teams' readiness, wishing them success and the best results in the upcoming continental competition.
